The Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work (FIFSW) is developing our next strategic plan. As we move into the next phase of planning, we begin co-designing intentions and priorities for FIFSW’s future. In a series of five “strategy hives,” we will explore key strategic questions to shape the strategic framework.

What impact do we want to have and what do we want to be known for?
In almost every conversation throughout the “pollination” phase of strategic planning, people observed that the FIFSW is regarded as “#1 in Canada” and a global leader – and yet people also noted that they aren’t fully certain what the reputation specifically refers to. In this Hive, we will synthesize and build on insights from the previous four to explore what “#1” will mean five years from now – and how to deepen these intentions across all dimensions of the Faculty.
